Nadav was born in Ramat Gan, 1992. He grew up in Hod Hasharon, started playing Drum Set at the age of 13 and immediately had a natural curiosity and passion for music. During High School he majored 10 points in music, studied theory and ear training extensively, and formed local Rock and Funk bands. At 18, he decided to take a break from music and serve his military service in the elite infantry unit “Maglan”. To this day, Nadav accredits his dedication to music and life skills to his military experience. He goes on to travel and volunteer in the US, Central and South America, doing international development, agriculture, special education, and exploration.

In 2014, he comes back to Israel and dedicates himself fully to music. He spends a year in Rimon School in Ramat Hasharon, and then continues to the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. Nadav’s experience in the Jerusalem music scene had a profound impact on his development - he was exposed to traditional music from his North African roots and begins diving deeper into Middle-Eastern percussion and music, while studying Jazz Performance and Composition at the Academy.

He becomes one of the founding members of “Hamadrasa” - an Andalucian orchestra led by Hagai Bilitsky. They explore traditional North-African music from the golden age of southern Spain, while gaining critical acclaim in major festivals in Israel and abroad. At the same time, along with his long-time friends Lior Soltz and Tamir Klein, he forms the “Soltz Trio” - a Jazz/ Classical blending group that plays haunting melodies. They go on to perform in International Fesitvals across Israel and Australia.

In the midst of the pandemic, Nadav decides to move to the US to pursue a Master’s Degree at the New England Conservatory. While studying and performing with major artists in Boston and New York such as Miguel Zenon, Donny McCaslin, Ethan Iverson, Dave Holland, Jason Moran and Arturo O’ffaril, he becomes one of the busiest Middle-Eastern percussionists in the North-East, as well as recording for major artists and Hollywood productions. During his time in Boston, Nadav also performs and gives masterclasses in the Panama Jazz Festival and Costa Rica.

After his graduation, and a year of performing his compositions, Nadav brings his group together to the studio for the recording of his debut - Songs for Empathy - a reflection on the human experience as a cry for greater Empathy in our world.

In July 2023, Nadav returned to Israel to form his musical roots and establish himself as a local musician, starting with the release of “Songs for Empathy”.
